Maria supports sustainability strategy and performance for TIG, where she drives the integration of sustainability considerations across the investment process. In her role, she works closely with the investment team, portfolio managers, and operational personnel to assess sustainability-related risks and opportunities within both potential investments and the current portfolio. Maria is also responsible for overseeing the implementation of environmental and social programs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and leading the group’s sustainability reporting. Maria joined TIG in 2020 as part of the Client Solutions team and transitioned to the Sustainability team in 2022. Before TIG, Maria worked as an alternative asset research analyst, specializing in Latin American infrastructure and natural resource investments. Maria holds an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a B.S. in Financial Economics and Political Science from Binghamton University.
