Caitlin represents TIG in civil society, multistakeholder, and industry initiatives focused on the role of responsible forestry in delivering climate-positive results. She is responsible for managing the firm’s participation in external standard-setting processes and related forums and advising on climate policy and performance. Caitlin previously worked as a senior fellow at The Nature Conservancy, working on the development and delivery of natural climate solutions strategies. Prior to TNC she led Western Hemisphere operations for Singapore-based consulting, auditing, and technology firm Double Helix Tracking Technologies. In that role and prior to it at the World Resources Institute, she developed technology and strategy in public-private partnerships to address illegal logging and associated trade. She has served as a technical expert on a number of working groups and advisory committees related to land use, carbon accounting, forest management, certification, and deforestation-related commodity sourcing.
